WLD Wallet
WLD token

The World token, managed from your desktop.

WLD Wallet gives WLD holders a focused desktop surface for balances, transfers, transaction history, network context, and local signing.

What WLD is

A digital asset for the World ecosystem.

World describes WLD as the native token of the real human network. It can be used to power and participate in Mini Apps, platforms, protocols, services, and other experiences built on World.

Network

Ethereum mainnet origin

The WLD token contract is deployed on Ethereum mainnet. WLD Wallet separates Ethereum and World Chain activity so users can inspect the network context before signing.

Scaling

World Chain activity

WLD is bridged to World Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 designed for scalability, lower fees, and human-first activity across the World ecosystem.

Wallet

Desktop asset control

Use WLD Wallet to monitor balances, prepare transfers, label addresses, and verify transaction details before a local or hardware-wallet signature.

Token contract

Designed around transparent supply rules.

World states that the WLD token contract is not upgradable. The only control described is setting a minter address if the community decides to activate inflation after the initial no-mint period.

Contract

Not upgradable

Contract behavior should be verified from the canonical Ethereum contract and official documentation before relying on integrations.

Minting

Governance-gated future minting

World states no address can mint new WLD for 15 years after launch; after that, protocol governance may set a minter for up to 1.5% new WLD per year.

Legacy

Bridge awareness

A legacy bridged WLD version also exists on Optimism. Always verify network and token contract before transferring assets.

Network clarity before each signature.

Transfers can look similar across Ethereum, World Chain, and legacy bridged networks. WLD Wallet keeps chain name, fee estimate, receiving address, and token identity visible before confirmation.

Local custody, no hosted account.

The wallet stores encrypted keys locally and can route signatures through supported hardware wallets. Private keys and seed phrases should never be pasted into websites or shared with support.

Risk-aware by design.

Crypto products can be highly risky. WLD Wallet is wallet software, not financial advice, an exchange, or a promise that WLD is available in every jurisdiction.
